Hopefully, this week your child can tell you all about what a noun is - and the difference between a common and a proper noun.  We are reviewing some of the different parts of speech to help inform our discussion about, and practice of, effective writing.  In grade three, sentences become more complex and ideas more thoughtful.  It is important to solidify the writing language foundation so that this can happen.
