Bach to the Beatles

We enjoyed a terrific performance on Friday, which took the students on a musical journey from Bach to the Beatles.  The students even learned about the origin of the saxophone and all the different types of saxophones.  If your child mentions that their favorite part was the Spice Girl's dance it's because several of the teachers performed another flash mob - this time to our artist of the week, the Spice Girls.  Even Mr. Scout joined in!

Curling was another highlight from this week, with the students all learning how to "hurry, hard!"  And in between all of this excitement we continued our work on literacy, math, social studies, and science.  What a wonderful week of school!
