Remembrance Day Assembly
Good Evening Everyone,
I just wanted to give everyone an update about the Remembrance Day Assembly on November 10th.
We will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. You are welcome to attend! The class will be singing and presenting some of their work on Peace is... . Students are asked to wear dark coloured bottoms (jeans are ok) and white tops (off white, light grey are also acceptable). Students will be wearing poppies and donations to the poppy fund are gratefully accepted. Students are also asked to support the Veterans' Food Bank with a donation of non-perishable food that can be dropped off outside the office in the boxes provided. Parents and guardians, you are also welcome to support this worthy cause when attending the assembly.
Please remember that this a serious, solemn remembrance of those men and women who fought hard to protect the freedoms that we enjoy today in Canada.
Students who are members of Beavers, Cubs, Sparks, Brownies, and Cadets are encouraged to wear their uniforms for the Remembrance Day Assembly.
Thank you for supporting the students in Room 75 as they learn about Peace, Acceptance and Sacrifice.
