Hello Cranston Families,

Here is the week at a glance from Team 75!  

1.  Tuesday October 24th - Ms. Patton will be absent in the morning so she can attend a Learning Leader workshop.  Mrs. Vandertoorn will be covering the class in the morning.

2.  Wednesday October 25th - Fun Lunch - A&W and Edible Arrangements.  Book Exchange in the Learning Commons (please bring Library books to school!
      - Constable Mattice will be working with Team 75 students in the morning.  She will be working on an S4 lesson.

3.  Hallowe'en Howler after school.  Please see the Weekly Newsletter for details

4.  Artist of the Week from Ms. Thomas:

Michael Jackson

In the spirit of Halloween, the “King of Pop” will be our artist of the week. Starting his career in the 1960s, Michael Jackson was a vital member of his family’s pop group, “The Jackson 5”. Continuing his career with Motown Records, MJ went solo in the 1970s, eventually leading us to his era of greatness in the 80s. We will be listening to some of his greatest hits including: I Want You Back, ABC, Billie Jean, and of course, Thriller. Students will also get a taste of the impact he made on dance culture.

Book Orders will be sent home this week and should be returned on Monday October 30th.  

Scholastic Book Fair is the Week of November 1 - 3, 2017.  

Parent-Teacher Interviews will be November 2nd 4-7 p.m. and November 3rd 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.  Please contact Ms. Patton or Mrs. Vandertoorn if you need to book a double appointment.
