The Week of Pi(e) March 12-16, 2018
Hello Cranston Families,
First and foremost...a big thank you to those parents who took the time to walk with the students to Sobey's last week. Everyone was excited to buy the ingredients to make apple pie for Pi(e) Day on March 14th. If you have a current security clearance and would like to come help with the making the pie, please email Mrs. Vandertoorn at tabroshvandertoorn@cbe.ab.ca.
Here's what this week looks like:
Monday March 12, 2018 - Watch for Swimming forms and Harry Potter movie permission forms to come home today. The Harry Potter movie is rated PG13 and we are required to have parent/guardian permission so we can show the movie to the students. We will be showing the movie in 3 sessions, the first one on Friday.
Wednesday March 14, 2018 - Book Exchange in the morning and Pi(e) making in the afternoon.
Friday March 16, 2018 - Pi(e) eating day and watching Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (part one).
Future Planning:
Friday March 23, 2018 - PD day, No school for students
March 26 - April 2, 2018 - Spring Break - school resumes on Tuesday April 3, 2018.
