My apologies for the late Blog Post this week...time has runaway from me!
Wednesday February 28, 2018
1. Pink Shirt Day - The students are encouraged to wear a pink shirt to support kindness and good citizenship as part of the Anti-bullying message. We will be writing messages of kindness and posting them on a bulletin board in the Hub.
2. Fun Lunch - A&W and Edible Arrangements are providing Fun Lunch tomorrow. Please check to see if you ordered for your child. If not, please send a healthy lunch. If yes, the children will need a healthy snack.
3. Book Exchange in the Learning Commons - As usual, we will be exchanging books on Wednesday Morning. Please help your child put his/her library books in their backpacks tonight.
Other important information:
1. Swimming - Our swimming dates are April 9-12 and we will be leaving the school at 915 a.m. and returning at 11:30 a.m. As usual, we are always in need of parent volunteers to come along with us and help in the change rooms. Please let Ms. Patton know if you are able to volunteer this week. Her email is: capatton@cbe.ab.ca
2. Panda Project - The students have been working on their Animal Life Cycles Science topic. We have researched either Red Pandas or Giant Pandas. Their final project for this part of our Panda Inquiry is to create a Google Slideshow. We have worked on this project for many hours and most students have finished. For those who have not, I am asking that you help them do this at home. Each child has a school Gmail account and password. This was sent home with students in November. Students will need their Yellow Science duotangs. Once they have finished the project please have them share it with me: capatton@educbe.ca.
