February 12-16, 2018

This is a short but busy week!  Here's what students have to look forward to this week!

Monday February 12, 2018 - Winter Olympics comes to Cranston School - Students will be outside participating in various events from 12:30 ish to 1:30 ish.  Please ensure that your child has all their winter gear ready to wear.  This includes:  snow pants, winter coat, hat, neck warmer or scarf, mittens and winter boots. Warm socks and extra mittens could also be packed.  Students will be treated to hot chocolate courtesy of Parent Council once the day's events are over.

Tuesday February 13, 2018 - Most students will be celebrating the 100th day of school for the 2017-2018 school year.  Our class will celebrate on Wednesday February 14th.

Wednesday February 14, 2018 - Happy Valentines' Day.  Students will be given time to exchange Valentines cards in the afternoon as well as play some board games.  Please label all game pieces.  Mrs. Vandertoorn posted detailed notes about bringing Valentine Cards to school one day last week.  If you are planning to send in a healthy snack for students to share in the afternoon, please let Mrs. Vandertoorn or Ms. Patton know what you are planning to send.

Thursday and Friday February 15th and 16th - Teachers' Convention, NO school for students.

Monday February 19th, 2018 - Family Day - NO school for everyone.
