Happy Valentine's Day to all of our families and a special thank you to the families that sent in class treats! We all enjoyed them!
Currently, one of our key areas of focus in literacy is the difference between quick questions and deep thinking questions. Quick questions are those that can be answered with facts, usually from within the text. Deep thinking questions require students to make inferences and suppositions to discover meaning. We are building skills that will enable our students to think deeply about what they read as they continue to develop their abilities to find meaning and understanding in a variety of texts.
Reminder - NO SCHOOL on Thursday, Friday, or Monday! Enjoy the extra long weekend!
