Crystal growing and Christmas giving.
Hi, families! There is so much going on at school these days that its hard to sum it all up. We are very busy preparing for the Christmas concert on Wednesday. Just a reminder that there will also be a matinee performance at 1:00pm. If you are able, this is a great chance to see the show - without any tickets required!
A highlight from this week happened in Science. We have been preparing for our first lab and on Thursday it happened! We mixed three different super saturated solutions and have them set-up with a time lapse camera, ready to record our observations on Monday. Be sure to ask your child what is a super saturated solution!
I hope you have had a great weekend, enjoying the unseasonably warm weather!

We also had a wonderful time working with our Grade one buddies, decorating the gift bags that will be used to deliver the items we have donated for children in other Calgary schools who are not as fortunate as ourselves. This is a student led initiative and we have had some great conversations at school around the topic of giving.
