Important Updates for Dec. 4-7, 2017
Dear Cranston Families,
This might be a short week, but it is still really busy! Here's a synopsis of our week in room 75.
1. Christmas Concert/Play Information: Tickets for the Christmas Play will be going home onTuesday December 5th. Each family of students performing will receive 2 tickets for the evening performance. If you are unable to use one or both of the tickets, please return them to school for those families who require extra tickets. Students in the Patton/Vandertoorn class will be performing on Wednesday December 13th. The show starts at 6:30 p.m. and students are required to be at the school at 6:15 p.m. where they will proceed directly to our classroom. Students with speaking parts are required to be at the school for the evening performance. There will be a dress rehearsal at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday the 13th. Please see the weekly update for more information.
In preparation for the concert, students will be practicing daily with Ms. Thomas.
2. Fun Lunch - Wednesday December 6th, Subway. Please send morning snacks with your child.
3. Book Exchange is, as usual, on Wednesday Morning.
4. Please send in Christmas Gift Giving Initiative bags for Wednesday December 6th. Students will be decorating gift bags and making cards to include in the bags in the next few days.
5. Baby Food Jars - If anyone has some baby food jars that they are willing to donate to our classroom for a science project, please send them to school, as soon as possible. Students will be growing three different types of crystals and glass jars are required for this science experiment. Students will be mixing up their first supersaturated solution on Wednesday this week.
6. NO school on Friday December 8th. Teachers will be participating in a school-wide Professional Development Day.
